RELEASE: Tomorrow’s Jobs PAC endorses Eddy Morales for Congress (OR-03)

Highlighting his small business and entrepreneurial background, the national organization plans to actively support Eddy Morales in his 2024 election.

Washington, DC (April 23, 2024) Today, Tomorrow’s Jobs, a new national group supporting Democrats with small business and entrepreneurial backgrounds, announced the endorsement of Eddy Morales’ congressional bid in Oregon’s 3rd Congressional District.

Brett Broesder, the organization’s founding executive director, stated that Eddy’s background as a small business owner makes him an excellent example of someone who can excel as a candidate and policymaker.

“Entrepreneurs and small business owners are the lifeblood of our nation’s economy,” said Broesder. “They're a driving force behind job creation, innovation, and strong communities. That’s why Tomorrow’s Jobs proudly supports Eddy Morales and plans to ensure he has the support and resources necessary to win.”

Eddy Morales said he’s thrilled to have Tomorrow’s Jobs PACs support.

“We need more small business owners in Congress - leaders who understand how to create jobs, spur our economy, and work creatively to find solutions. I’m honored to receive this endorsement, and I’ll always fight to ensure that small businesses get the support they deserve from Washington” said Morales.

The recent announcement of Congressman Earl Blumenauer's retirement has resulted in an open seat for Oregon's third congressional district. This particular district is known to be a solid Democratic constituency and encompasses the cities of Portland and Hood River.

Tomorrow’s Jobs officially launched in late December 2023 and has made fourteen endorsements in the upcoming elections, including:

  • Incumbent House Democrat (2): Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03), and Jim Himes (CT-04).

  • U.S. House Candidates (12): Sue Altman (NJ-07), Janelle Bynum (OR-05), Rebecca Cooke (WI-03), Hilary Franz (WA-06), Nancy Goroff (NY-01), Michelle Maldonado (VA-10), Luz Rivas (CA-29), Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Amish Shah (AZ-01), Missy Cotter Smasal (VA-02), Derek Tran (CA-45), and Joe Vogal (MD-06).
