Tomorrow’s Jobs PAC Endorses Jeremy Gray for Congress (AL–02)

Highlighting his background as an entrepreneur and small business owner, new national organization plans to actively support Jeremy Gray’s congressional bid.

Washington, DC (December 12, 2023) — Today, Tomorrow’s Jobs, a new national group supporting Democrats with small business and entrepreneurial backgrounds, endorsed State Representative Jeremy Gray in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District.

Brett Broesder, the PAC’s founding executive director, stated that Gray’s background as an entrepreneur and small business owner makes him an excellent example of someone who can excel as a candidate and policymaker.

“Entrepreneurs and small business owners like State Representative Jeremy Gray are the lifeblood of our nation’s economy,” said Broesder. “They're a driving force behind job creation, innovation, and healthy and equitable communities. That’s why Tomorrow’s Jobs proudly supports Jeremy Gray and plans to actively ensure he has the support and resources necessary to win.”

Jeremy Gray said he’s thrilled to have Tomorrow’s Jobs PACs support.

“I’m humbled and grateful to receive the endorsement of Tomorrow’s Jobs in my campaign for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District,” said Whip Gray. “As an entrepreneur, I understand how local businesses can power economic growth for small communities and make major local impact beyond their bottom line. I’m running for Congress to champion policies that will uplift our communities, especially small businesses that create jobs across the district. I have a proven record of working on a bipartisan basis to get things done. That is a skill I will tirelessly employ in the halls of Congress to deliver tangible results for the betterment of our district and all Alabamians."

This fall, a federal court ruling resulted in adopting a new Alabama congressional map with a second Black-majority district for the first time in history. The race to fill this new Democratic-leaning congressional district (AL-02) seat is a crowded one, including 13 candidates running in the Democratic primary that’ll take place on March 5, 2023.

Tomorrow’s Jobs PAC plans to make endorsements nationwide in 2024. In addition to endorsing State Representative Jeremy Gray (AL-02), the group is also backing Rebecca Cooke (WI-03) and Derek Tran (CA-45).

The overall effort includes recruiting, training, and supporting Democratic candidates with experience creating jobs in communities, including small business owners, entrepreneurs, non-profit executives, and more.
