Tomorrow’s Jobs launches a new independent expenditure (IE) ad supporting Jeremy Gray for Congress (AL-02)

The planned five-figure program consists of targeted digital and social media advertising.

Washington, DC (February 27, 2024) — Today, Tomorrow’s Jobs—a national group supporting Democrats with small business and entrepreneurial backgrounds—launched a new video ad as part of a planned five-figure independent expenditure (IE) effort supporting Democrat Jeremy Gray (AL-02).

Tomorrow’s Jobs PACs planned effort supporting Gray for the March 5, 2024, primary election includes:

  • Digital advertising: Programmatic digital and social media ads, including video, deliver hundreds of thousands of impressions to likely special general election voters.

“Entrepreneurs and small business owners like State Representative Jeremy Gray are the lifeblood of our nation’s economy,” said Broesder. “They're a driving force behind job creation, innovation, and healthy and equitable communities. That’s why Tomorrow’s Jobs proudly supports Jeremy Gray and plans to actively ensure he has the support and resources necessary to win.”

In the fall of 2023, a federal court ruling resulted in adopting a new Alabama congressional map with a second Black-majority district for the first time in history. The race to fill this new Democratic-leaning congressional district (AL-02) seat is a crowded one, including 13 candidates running in the Democratic primary that’ll take place on March 5, 2023.

Tomorrow’s Jobs officially launched in late December 2023 and has made ten endorsements in the upcoming elections, including:

  • Incumbent House Democrat: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03).

  • U.S. House Candidates: Janelle Bynum (OR-05), Rebecca Cooke (WI-03), Nancy Goroff (NY-01), Jeremy Gray (AL-02), Michelle Maldonado (VA-10), Luz Rivas (CA-29), Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Missy Cotter Smasal (VA-02) and Derek Tran (CA-45).

The Tomorrow’s Jobs PAC effort includes recruiting, training, and supporting Democrats with experience creating jobs in communities, including small business owners, entrepreneurs, and non-profit executives.
